Gidaria Restaurant

Gidaria is a student project inspired by the work of artist, eL Seed.

Gidaria is a student project inspired by the artist, eL Seed, renowned for his Calligraffiti artworks.
This project draws mainly from his unique and inspiring project, “Lost Walls.”

Opening its doors in 2015, Gidaria is a modern French and Tunisian restaurant that brings the authentic flavors of French and Tunisian cultural heritage to Seattle. The name Gidaria means "Mural" in Arabic, and is a reference to the energetic calligraphy painted on our notable walls. The design of the restaurant echoes courtyards and walls of cities in the Middle East, with limestone floors, hand-painted tables and walls, and soaring ceilings. The soul of Gidaria is the laffa bread, baked to order in our wood-fired oven. The creamy and nutty hummus will transport you to Europe.
